14"(36 cm.) All cloth stockinette doll has pressed and oil painted facial features and
hair,stitched-on ears,shaded brown short curly hair with golden shades,large painted blue
eyes,thickly painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth,stitch-
jointed body,painted above-the-knee blue stockings and blue ankle boots,nicely costumed.
Condition: generally excellent,left arm is early replacement,toe tips worn. Comments: Ella Smith's
"Alabama Baby"in rarer small size,circa 1910. Value Points: beautiful original painting of hair and
face,unusual blue stockings.
