Description
8"(20 cm.) The large comprised group includes various persons and accessories,each of carved
and painted wood,with original costumes,comprising: Teddy Roosevelt with painted glasses and
yellow wooden cape; five safari personnel (three with green uniforms,two with khaki
uniforms),each with distinctive facial painting and variously clean-shaven,bearded or with
moustache; one native drummer with turban; four natives with topknot hole (topknots missing
with slight paint flaking at hole); and style II African Chief in purple coat and tophat. Also
included are two rifles and wooden drum; a muslin tent is included although unknown if original.
Very good to excellent condition,each with original costume,topknots missing (as noted above).
