40"(102 cm.) overall. 11"l. of head. 18"circ. at bridge of nose. Very thick paste porcelain
shoulderhead with very delicate pink tinted complexion,elongated throat,deeply sculpted facial
features,black sculpted curly hair,large blue eyes with red and thick black upper eyeliner,painted
brows,circle accents at nostrils,closed mouth with full lips and extended lip line forming
upturned curls at the lip ends,handmade cloth body,cotton gown,undergarments,velvet cape.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 18. Comments: Germany,circa 1880,the very large size of
the doll indicates its possible production as an exhibition model. Value Points: superb sculpting
and very rare size.
