Description
5"(13 cm.) h. 6"l. Posed on a hand-pressed porcelain plinth are three children, each with well- detailed sculpted and painted hair and facial features, and delightfully painted costumes; two of the children play with a little King Charles Spaniel dog,and the baby lies in the cradle, waving arms and legs. The vignette is appealing and decorated from all angles. The top removes to reveal a hidden two pot inkwell below. Excellent condition. Circa 1850.
