Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom,very full sculpting of cheeks and throat,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted dark curly lashes,brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows,mauve blushed eye shadow,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid bebe body as deposed by Bru,bisque arms to elbows,separately sculpted fingers,gusset-jointed hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: No 7 Bru (shoulders) (original Bru Brevete label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1878,his first model bebe. Value Points: rare larger size of the superb gentle-faced bebe with outstanding quality of bisque,sculpting and painting,original very sturdy signed body,perfect hands,wearing (frail) early silk dress that appears original,undergarments,leather shoes,embroidered early cap,earrings.
