Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, slightly-parted lips, tiny porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 149 2/0 Germany. Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: pretty doll with original wig, body, wonderful antique costume, along with gilt metal chair with beveled mirror back and blue velvet seat, and with white fur kitten in seated pose with green glass eyes, and tiny book "Much Ado About Nothing".
