Roullet et Decamps, circa 1895,with bisque head by Jumeau, the brioche is arranged with lid
closed, and when wound, music plays, the lid opens and the little chef slowly arises, turns from
side to side and lifts the little brioche cake he holds in his hand, appears to take a nibble, and
then quickly jumps back down while the lid snaps shut. Value Points: delightful vignette of
Paris scene is well preserved and amusing.
