Description
12"(30 cm.) overall length. A paper mache/wooden horse in prancing stance has carved man and
yoke,painted and leather harness detail,applied saddle,painted facial features,and is mounted on
wooden wheeled platform,pulling a wooden coach in original yellow finish with red striping
detail,and opening door at the back. A paper mache driver with sculpted hat and
uniform,sculpted moustache and boots,is seated in front,and the coach roof is laden with various
boxes,luggage,keg,instruments (one mandolin is a candy container),baskets. There is a silver
eagle medallion mounted on each side. Very good/excellent condition. Germany,circa 1875.
