Description
6"(15 cm.) Each is porcelain box with figural sculpture depicting a little girl asleep in her chair;
the upper portion of the chair and upper part of girl forming the lid of the box,each with
sculpted hair and fancifully painted costume. One depicts a brown-haired girl holding her little
Polichinelle on her tray,and the other has a plate of porridge. Germany,circa 1865. Excellent
condition except chip on backside of porridge dish. Wonderful detail of decoration especially on
Polichinelle.
