15"(38 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with oval face,elongated strong throat,black sculpted
hair waved low around sides of face to cover the ears and then looped back to form a tightly
bound chignon,painted blue eyes,single stroke brows,closed mouth with pale lips,blushed
cheeks,slender kid body with wooden lower limbs,red flat shoes,wearing original muslin gown
with red silk ribbons,undergarments. Condition: generally excellent,ding in forehead. Comments:
Germany,circa 1850. Value Points: rare coiffure,fine detail of defined eye sockets,larger
size,original costume.
