Bisque socket head with deeply sculpted character features especially around the small blue glass sleep eyes,painted short curly fringed lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with defined space between the shaded lips with enhancing decorative glaze,auburn mohair wig in tousled curls,composition and wooden ball- jointed body,wearing antique costume in the Little Lord Fauntleroy manner comprising velvet jacket with lace collar,short trousers,black leggings,shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1428 15. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1912. Value Points: the rare model is virtually unknown in this large size,enhanced by superb quality of bisque and sculpting,original body and body finish.
