8"(20 cm.) Representing Punch and Judy,with highly characterized paper mache heads and
faces,she with white sculpted mob cap,long pointy nose,smiling expression,he with sculpted
jester cap,wide beaming devilish smile. Judy has accordion bellows in torso and wooden
limbs,original costume; Punch has a hollowed hole in torso where a rubber ball squeaker once
was,wooden limbs and original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Germany,circa 1885. Value Points: delightful early novelty dolls in well-preserved condition.
