Description
8"(20 cm.) larger. Each is all-bisque figure of circus elephant with decorative blankets and head
crowns,being driven by a turbaned driver,the larger with a passenger seat on the elephant's back
on which are posed three anxious-looking children in Victorian style clothing,the smaller with a
nodding head attachment on elephant. Larger is excellent,smaller has restoration around
elephant's waist. Germany,circa 1890,very fine quality of painting on the rare and festive figurals.
