Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: there is an old dime-sized chip and reglue at low back neck socket, missing finger on left hand, body very sturdy. Marks: 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: gorgeous eyes beautifully contrast her fine blue silk ensemble.
