21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in antique cotton school dress, undergarments, stockings, shoes, straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 53. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, "Mein Liebling" from their transition art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: very dear sweet-faced child with wistful expression, lovely bisque and painting, original body finish.
