Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in long braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1009 Halbig German S&H 5. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: the petite doll wears her original Swiss regional costume with beautiful lace coiffe and velvet vest, apron, skirt, blouse, original shoes and stockings, original wig with hip-length braids.
