44" (112 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, thick brush-stroked brows with feathered details, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with elongated lower legs that extend to above the knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 Germany 112 (back of head) 22.X 27/00 (crown rim). Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, note that the model is the rare 117 open mouth (not the later 117n). Value Points: extraordinary size is largest known to exist for this very rare model, original body and body finish, fine quality bisque and painting, wearing wonderful antique woolen suit and top hat.
