36" (91 cm.) Bisque socket head with pale complexion, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, row of porcelain teeth, brunette human hair hand-tied wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, paint touch-up on torso and hands. Marks: 16. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful bebe with dramatic large eyes, wearing superb velvet plaid dress with original Paris label "Au Bon Marche", red velvet sash, undergarments, stockings, shoes, along with green woolen felt bonnet with original French label "Mlle Samson, Chartres", and fine antique green silk parasol.
