Porcelain shoulder head with delicately pink tinted complexion, rounded facial shape, slightly elongated throat, almond shaped brown glass enamel inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line on lips, brunette human hair hand-tied wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointed limbs, stitched and separated fingers and toes, wearing indigo blue handwoven fitted gown, undergarments, beautiful early tablier with embroidery, ruffled cap, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Brevete SGDG (body stamp). Comments: Blampoix, the brevete mark likely referred to his depose for glass eyes, circa 1865. Value Points: rare early glass eyed French poupee with beautiful luminous complexion enhanced by delicately tinted blush, original signed body.
