Description
5" (13 cm.) teapot. Of creamy softpaste with blue transfer design depicting a little girl sitting on a stoop, a kitten in her arms, a nearby kitten lapping milk, and a dog seated at attention, with geometric borders. The service comprises lidded teapot, creamer, lidded sugar, 3 bowls, 4 plates, each marked Staffordshire England. Generally excellent, few minor flakes, creamer is darkened. Circa 1875.
