Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, small pale blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark outline around the eyes, delicately painted lashes and feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, original lambswool cap over Steiner pate with fleecy lambswool hair, Steiner composition full-jointed body with eight loose-ball-joints, straight wrists, cupped open fingers, antique muslin dress with lace edging and tiers, undergarments, socks, shoes, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Jules Steiner, a very early model bebe, circa 1875. Value Points: rare early model having beautiful bisque, expression, original body and costume, the doll was given to Carole Jean (then) Stoessel by her beloved grandmother Mom-Mom.
