21" (53 cm.) All wooden carved doll, socket head, intaglio deep blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with solemn expression, brunette mohair wig with side-coiled braids, all-wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing, antique blue romper suit (may be original), Schoenhut shoes are not original. Condition: generally excellent, finish rubbed on hands. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17, '11 USA (decal mark). Comments: Schoenhut, model 308, the 21" size of the model was made 1921-1924. Value Points: intelligent gaze on the rare larger size, with especially wonderful sculpting of eyes.
