37" (94 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows with modeling detail and decorative glaze, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, impressed dimples at lip corners and chin, original brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with pull-string "mama" crier, wearing antique white-wear dress with lace inserts, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 1248 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 17. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900, the model was registered in Germany in 1898. Value Points: likely the largest size of this model, the doll is enhanced by very beautiful bisque and sculpting, has rare pull-string mama crier.
