Description
27" (69 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde baby hair with defined forelock curl, modeled stuck-out ears, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, open mouth, outlined lips, two beaded upper teeth, tongue, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.S. & Co. 1272/65 Deponiert. Comments: Franz Schmidt, circa 1915. Value Points: rarer model in wonderful large size that is virtually unfindable, enhanced by very choice bisque and painting.
