Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, neck articulation that allows the doll to tilt head forward and sideways as well as swivel, almond shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French kid-over-wooden poupee body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, hips, and knees, bisque lower arms, wearing antique black taffeta gown and bonnet, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, rub on under chin, both thumbs missing. Marks: 4. Comments: attributed to Dehors who deposed the realistic neck articulation in 1867.
