Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde baby hair, blue glass sleep eyes, long painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, defined tongue tip, two beaded upper teeth, composition bent limb baby body, antique multi-layered baby costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.S. & Co 1271/35z. Comments: Franz Schmidt, circa 1916. Value Points: beautiful bisque and sculpting on the expressive character, original body and body finish, antique costume includes miniature baby rattle.
