38" (97 cm.) Bisque head with unique neck construction designed to accommodate mannequin body, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lushly painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented lips, brunette mohair wig, on original mannequin body with black muslin cover, carved wooden lower legs and feet with defined ankle boots, carved wooden lower arms and hands with elaborately detailed articulation of fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. (scroll on head) 6 Stockman Paris Brevete SGDG 4 (body). Comments: the Parisian mannequin creator, Stockman, with original Gaultier head, circa 1890. Value Points: wonderful smaller size mannequin with carved wooden boots, superb detail of hand articulation, especially pleasing facial model.
