Description
19" (48 cm.) h. of body. 6" w. top of shoulders. Slender kid bebe body from Chevrot era with original scalloped edged kid collarette with remains of original paper label, Chevrot hinged hips, hinged wooden legs, kid over wooden upper arms, bisque forearms and hands, bisque shoulderplate and original kid lining and neck attachment for head. Condition: there is a break and reglue (some missing fragments) at back of left elbow, kid body is very sturdy. Marks: Bru Jne (illegible size number). Comments: Bru, Chevrot epoch, circa 1884. Value Points: included is original pate and brunette mohair wig, along with lovely costume and shoes in the antique French style.
