Description
12" (30 cm.) excluding tail. A paper mache cat is lavishly covered with lush white fur, has long tail, ears, green glass eyes, pink nose, open mouth with pink lined interior, "diamond" studded silver leather necklace. When wound and lever released the cat strolls along by alternately lifting legs, and mouth opens and closes. There is a cloth label "Louis Vuitton, 70 Champs Elysees, Paris". Probably Roullet et Decamps, circa 1910. Excellent condition.
