Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head, large brown glass side-glancing googly sleep eyes, painted sunburst style lashes, single stroke brows, button nose with accent dots, closed mouth with watermelon slice smile, brunette mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, dimpled knees, painted blue socks and black one strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent, small chip at upper left leg rim, tiny pinflake on left baby finger. Marks: 189 1. Comments: Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: delightful and whimsical googly character has fine luminous bisque, well detailed dimples.
