Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, large blue glass inset eyes, painted short lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, shapely torso, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, modeled bent left arm, very muscular and shapely legs with painted white ribbed stockings and yellow laced boots with black heels. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest neck socket chip (hidden),left elbow reglued. Marks: 2 (head). Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with superb sculpting, wonderful face, swivel head, fancy boots, wearing her original multi-layered costume.
