14" (36 cm.) One piece porcelain figure of young child in standing pose, legs apart, arms held in front of body with folded fists, blonde sculpted hair, painted blue eyes with large black pupils, very thick upper black eyeliner, thin line grey eyeliner above and below the eye, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with space between the lips, pink tinted facial complexion, well defined body details of dimples, fingers, toes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: exceptional and rare "Frozen Charlotte" with unique painting of eyes lending a vivid character expression and superb modeling of hair enhanced by decorative glaze.
