24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted curly lashes, brush-stroked widely arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 109 - 12 Dep Germany. Comments: Heinrich Handwerck, circa 1910. Value Points: pretty child wears her original simple muslin dress with peach silk ribbons, large hair ribbon in original wig, and has original label on torso "Finest quality, Made in Germany for John Wanamaker".
