15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, plump cheeks, round blue glass flirty eyes, long painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils of little rounded nose, closed mouth with watermelon-slice shaped smile, shaded lips,blonde mohair fleecy wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique sailor costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 165 - 6. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, the model was marketed as their "Jubilee Googly", circa 1914. Value Points: delightful googly with appealing urchin expression, very fine bisque, orignal body and body finish.
