19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink tinted complexion, blonde sculpted short boyish hair with comb-marked detail, intaglio blue eyes, white eyedots, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with shaded and accented lips, two beaded lower teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in antique mariner style boy's suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7604 Heubach (sunburst mark) 6 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: expressive appealing features enhanced by fine quality of bisque, original body finish with pull-string crier.
