Bisque socket head with rich dark brown complexion, large brown glass sleep eyes, painted black curly lashes, black sculpted and brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique blue cotton dress, undergarments, saddle shoes, straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1079 Dep Germany 11. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful doll with lovely complexion and expression, her presentation enhanced by fine antique costume, a rare model with brown complexion.
