20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with right-glancing expression, thick black upper eyeliner, red upper eyeliner, short tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented pale lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Marie" from their art character reform series. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpting with very fine quality of complexion and modeling with deeply impressed facial features, choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, unusual painting of eyes in side-glancing pose.
