36" (91 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig 8. Comments: Handwerck, circa 1910. Value Points: the very large doll is wearing a wonderful Conquistador costume that includes metal chest armor with sun shield, matching silver metal helmet with feather, fancy sword marked "Spain" with maker's name.
