Description
24" (61 cm.) Bisque shoulder head turned slightly to the right, very plump face, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, plaster pate, commercial kid body with very elongated limbs, stitch-jointing, bisque forearms with separately sculpted fingers, lovely antique costume. Condition: bisque and body excellent, albeit slightly mis-sized for each other. Marks: 9. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: pretty closed mouth child with well-defined features.
