9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with painted blonde baby hair, painted blue intaglio eyes, lashes and brows, closed mouth modeled as though open with beaded teeth, carton ball-shaped body with small metal spoked wheels, composition arms, original muslin gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (square) Germany 7404 (?). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, probably for Zinner and Sohne, circa 1910, when wound, the doll glides along, turning, glides again. Value Points: amusing simple mechanical toy works well, great character face.
