Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with sienna brown complexion, brown glass inset eyes, black painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with coral shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted yellow shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 277 dep 3. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1895. Value Points: rarely found early child doll, especially with brown complexion, wonderfully sculpted features and beautiful bisque, original body, original costume.
