28" (71 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with rounded facial modeling, slightly elongated throat, short black sculpted curly hair in tousled fashion, partially sculpted ears, large blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, thick one stroke brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the full lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms with stitched and separated fingers, black taffeta gown with crocheted trim, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: large size china has fine lustrous china, beautifully shaped nose, unusually large eyes and lips.
