19" (48 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with rounded facial shape, light brown ("cafe-au-lait") hair in elaborately sculpted horizontal curls that taper to delicate curls onto the forehead and cascade at back of head, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with delicate hint of smile, blushed cheeks, old muslin body, bisque forearms and lower legs, fancily painted pink and green boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, fingers on left hand broken. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: wonderful detail of hair sculpting, rare brown hair, fancy boots.
