22" (56 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head, brown glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, cork pate, French composition and wooden eight loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, earliest period bebe known as "portrait" in reference to its luxury production, having superb bisque and well-defined features, original body and body finish, wearing fine antique rose silk costume, leather shoes with rosettes and impressed boutique label.
