Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, widely brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears,(new) blonde human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique rose cotton pinafore over cotton dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1079 17 S&H dep Germany. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: unusually expressive features with gentle appearance, fine quality bisque, deeply impressed chin dimple, sculpted brows, original body and body finish.
