18" (46 cm.) One piece all-porcelain very chubby child in standing pose, with legs modeled apart, arms held in front of body with small folded fists, the thumb and and forefinger forming a small circle, blonde sculpted hair with highly defined combmarks, painted blue eyes in deeply set eye sockets, red and brown upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostril circles and eye corners, closed mouth with bow-shaped lips, blushed cheeks, sculpted ears. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Conta & Bohme trademark on foot). Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: rare largest size of the so-called Frozen Charlotte doll has outstanding quality of sculpting, maker's mark.
