Description

18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue, shaded lips, two upper beaded teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent, hands retouched. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 116/A 42. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, from the transitional era of their art character series. Value Points: very choice modeling and bisque on the cheerful toddler, original wig, great antique costume.
