22" (56 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pale bisque and blushed cheeks, blue glass sleep eyes, dark painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, shaded lips,blonde painted baby hair, composition bent limb baby body, antique baby gown and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lori 1 (incised) Geschutz S&Co Germany (green stamp). Comments: Swaine and Co, circa 1915. Value Points: excellent detail of modeling enhanced by lovely bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
