Pressed bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with tiny modeled stuck-out tongue, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing pretty French-style brown velvet dress with burgundy trim, matching bonnet, antique undergarments, stockings, white kidskin ankle boots signed C.M. Condition: generally excellent, body is not original but is appropriately sized and of the same French era. Marks: F. 6 G. (block letters, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1882. Value Points: very pretty plump-faced expression enhanced by lovely bisque.
