25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, very plump cheeks, round blue glass flirty eyes, painted curly lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, pug nose, closed mouth with watermelon-slice-shaped smile, blushed cheeks, brunette mohair very curly wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: restoration around both eye rims, otherwise excellent, original body finish. Marks: 165 - 13. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, their Jubilee Googly, circa 1914. Value Points: wonderful large and rare size of the impish googly with fine quality of sculpting, original body and body finish.
